I had my college send out the transcript a couple of weeks ago and it still hasn't been marked as received by AMCAS. My application is more or less ready to be sent out, but obviously the more time I have to make small tweaks here and there as I get moments of inspiration the better.

Will my application be verified sooner if I submit it now, even though my transcript hasn't been received yet, or can I wait until AMCAS gets the transcript and then submit the application?

It won't be put in line to be verified until the transcript is received.

Its my understanding that AMCAS won't begin to verify your application until the transcript is received.

My only concern is- if you submit now, will you be at the head of the line for verification when your transcripts come in (versus joining the back of the verification line if you submit later)? Or would you be joining the back of the line in both cases? Hope that makes sense. It sounds like Banco believes its the latter- in which case you can wait to submit!

Yep, that is crux of the matter. Does anyone definitively know which is it?
