Home Infusion Rotation

[Pharma 4 U]

Anyone out there done a home infusion pharmacy rotation? I am in the middle of one, and it has to be the slowest, most boring part of pharmacy. Anyone have any experiences that they want to share, or give me some advice on spicing up the next 5 weeks of my life?

Any advice or suggestions would be great.

just get through it. ask for tasks. I did one as well and I found it as exciting as watching paint dry.

There's lots to be learned, if you do chose to pursue the opportunity.

Try to learn all about what type of lines are implemented to be administered IV, IV antibiotic treatment, and TPNs.
