Honors program at ucr or just uci

I got a invitation from UCR about an honor university program offered, but not from UCI. Which ones would be a better pick for me to help succeed for med school?

Depends what the honors program entails. At some universities it makes for a very different experience, with separate smaller classes for just honors students, much more faculty contact and advising, etc. At other universities it doesn't make much difference other than conveniences like early access to course registration.

Are you heading to college in ~5 months and these are the only two options you're considering?

Yah well I have calstate also and community college as other options but from what i heard cal state isnt good for undergrad getting to med

Do they cost you the same?

Looking at the UCR Honors benefits it looks very beneficial, particularly the small honors classes and getting paired up with faculty to do a capstone research project. Did you visit both campuses and feel they were both good for you ?

I visited irvine but not riverside. And costing is similar.

If you're nearby enough for a weekend trip I'd go check out UCR first to make sure you like the campus and surrounding area OK.
