Hopkins timelines - Rejection letters, Interview Invites

Hey all,
When I applied to Hopkins, they sent me an email saying they would email me when my application was complete and ready for review by the admissions committee (and also to let me know if I was missing anything). I never got another email from them, or even a rejection letter. The admissions office is not picking up their phones and left a message saying that they cannot answer calls regarding application status b/c they are really busy (which I can understand).

I'm not holding my breath (duh). Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me. I just figured they would have sent out most of their interview invitations by now, in which case, this is a mute posting b/c I didn't make the cut, but I can't help but wonder if they just haven't processed my application yet and maybe I can still have hope.

What have you all heard back from Hopkins? Rejections? Interviews? When were you complete and when did you get your email saying your application was complete and ready for review?

I'm in the same boat. I've basically given up hope....but based on no real information. They have left me so hanging for so long...I guess I just feel like they don't like me. Sniff. So are there people who would aregue that the two of us are in ok shape still?

I finally did get a complete email from them, about 6 weeks after I knew that they had to have had everything (everything was in by the end of Aug/beginning of Sept). Since then nothing but crickets.

I was complete 10.20 (after having submitted everything back in July) and received my intvite on 11.18.

I actually was in the same situation as you guys...complete email but nada after that...so I emailed to ask for an update. They got back to me very quickly (same day):

Your application has been reviewed; unfortunately, you have not been
selected to interview. Final decision letters will be mailed in late
February/early March.

Thank you for your interest in the Johns Hopkins University School of
Medicine.


So you can email and find out for sure what's going on but it probably isn't good. Otherwise, stay in the dark until Feb/March.

Im in the same boat...

got the email 10/20 and had my letters sent 9/27..

They didn't get them the first time so I had them resent, and still no word on being complete.

That's cool, I had the exact same situation, complete 10/20 and invite 11/18. Party on...
