After some fruitless searching, I'm making this thread.
I have held a job at a local tier 2 hospital (no primary research happening here) for about 8 months now. I am an EKG technician. Basically, have my own office, take outpatients, and am responsible for EKG administration and pre-MD reading of the entire hospital. I am pretty sure there would be no way this could not count as clinical experience.
My question is, when doing my application (only a sophomore so applying next year) how do I show this and explain to the fullest? I will have over 1000+ hours at that point and I really don't want adcoms to overlook this. Naturally, it will have to be a "work experience" but is there a way to explain the job in full or make it known of the hours? I am nervous an adcom might overlook this when in fact this is a major section of my clinical experience time.
