I was unsure whether I need to tell the dentists who are writing letters of rec for me to include the number of hours I worked with them.

Do the dentists have to say how many hours I worked for them in letters of rec?

From what a dental student told me, it isn't necessary. They will see how much you worked with them in the app and the fact you are getting a LOR from them will likely indicate how well the dentist got to know you/how much time they were able to spend with you.

That is just what I was told when seeking advice from a current D2 student!

Thank you very much for the reply! I swear I saw on this forum you want your dentist to say how many hours you worked for them or shadowed them

my dentist didn't include hours but from what I found only tufts require dentist to include hours so doesn't matter if hours are included or not
