What put under hours if I just started this week my research internship and volunteering at a nursing home?

Wait for August to submit so you can build up hours.
Yeah, right. For volunteer, can you just put your average weekly hours and total hours with an open end date? Those hours might be the same right now. But if it's going to be consistent gig, I don't see a problem with this. It's obviousl you just started and will continue at that pace. Might not be amazing, but still worth including.
For research, just put what you have. The dates and hours also make it obvious you just started.
Just the name and description of the activities are significant. Don't worry about the hours so much since you really can't put more than what you have.
