How accurate are those salary websites?

I am looking into the potential starting salary of a OT in the chicagoland area but i'm not sure how accurate these websites like salary.com or indeed are. As much as I love OT, if I will be in debt for the rest of my life I may need to rethink my future. Do any of you have any ideas of the most accurate websites to look at when checking out starting salaries of OTs?

I am looking because I don't want to take on to much debt if the salary will not be able to support the repayment.

Hi! I live in the Chicagoland area too and had the same issue as there are huge differences in salary on all the websites. I looked up OT jobs on career builder and some of them listed the salary or hourly wage - which was actually pretty high so I would check that out!
