Hey SDN people this is my first time posting on this website so I want to apologize in advance if I say anything stupid.

I am currently in my 4th semester at a local community college and so far the predental classes I have completed are :

Gen chem I and II
Gen bio I and II
Organic chem I and II
General physics I
Calculus I
and some other electives like economics, psychology, english, etc.

this semester I am taking calculus II and general physics II so I can get an associate degree to qualify for scholarships at the university.

So far I have a 4.0 GPA both science and non-science.

I have been accepted to a local 4 year university(rutgers new brunswick) for the spring of 2012 in which I will continue to work toward a degree in biological sciences. This university will also accept all of the prerequisites that I took at the CC toward my bachelor's degree. The courses I am required to take that are relevant to the prerequisites are:

Systems Physiology
General Biochemistry
Cell & Molecular biology
Genetics
Microbiology
and some other upper level science classes.

Now If I continue to do well at the 4-year university and NOT experience much of a GPA drop, I should be OK right?

thank you!

yes. try not to drop below a 3.5. if you get below a 3.0, that would look pretty bad.

That looks really good actually. Showing you can handle upper-div bio classes at a 4-year university is really important imo, especially for a transfer student. If you do well in those and net a high DAT score, you'll get many acceptances.
