Just wondering.

- Soon to be 500 hours of clinical research
- 300 hours of non clinical research
-Will have at least 100 of scribing by early summer
- 100 hours of community volunteering (nursing homes, helping out at homeless shelters)
-1000 from tennis club
- 50 hours from culinary club
- Just joined AED for the semester.
- Planning on working as a camp counselor with handicapped children over the summer
- 20 hours of shadowing
Thanks!

Why stop at 90th? Not going for 99th is a sign you don't want it enough.

Try checking off this list if you are really serious:

-4.1+ GPA
-101st percentile MCAT
-Rhodes Scholar
-Green Beret
-URM
-Concert violinist
-Fluent in 7 languages
-First author pubs in Nature, Science, AND Aeronautic Engineering Magazine
-Volunteer coordinator at ebola hospital in Liberia
-Challenger in solo queue in League of Legends
-President of Mensa
-Foundress of the missionaries of charity
-Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
-Olympic gold medalist
-Found Osama Bin Laden
-Made millions in stock market with software written from scratch
-Co-authored a paper on medical morality with Pope Francis
-Astronaut
-Batman

That should be a good start.

Seems pretty typical. I don't know why you are getting troll remarks.

Lots of clinical and non clinical volunteering. Nothing much else though.

I recommend you work on shadowing a bit more. Other than that, it looks great.

What else should one have then?

Nice. Maybe not a question of "what else should I have to get into medical school" and more of a "what else do I want to accomplish during my undergrad?"

Start some clubs, take a leadership role, shadow something you might be interested in pursuing, try to publish something. Just do it cause you want it/ are interested in it, and on top of what you already have it should all work out!

Thank you. I have one semester left of undergrad and want to apply this cycle, so I'll try to make the most of it.

Well...other ECs people typically have are publications, poster presentations, leadership postions, teaching, etc

Looks fine!!!

oh s*** lol. What if i only have a silver medal?

What do you like to do for fun outside of school that isn't related to medicine (I know you already mentioned tennis but what else)? Find a way to turn those activities into something verifiable on an application. That's about the only thing you could do better. Then make sure you can articulate why all of your activities have been meaningful to you - both in essay format and in conversation.

Hours look fine, but can you articulate why you participated in these activities, how they helped you develop as a person, and what you got out of them?

If so then great
