By sure about you guys but I'm going absolutely crazy waiting to hear from schools. I'm checking my email every two seconds it feels like and hair the weekends for the first time ever! Just wondering how you guys are managing to keep distracted so the application process doesn't drive you mental!

I'm almost hoping I don't hear back from anywhere for a month or two. I have no more money to travel for interviews. Seriously broke right now.

Job, shadowing, and a lot of volunteering is how I've managed to stay away from my email.

I just got hired as a scribe (yay!!😀) and I have 2 classes left to get my diploma. Plus, I am involved with bunch of other ECs that keep me busy.

Working, volunteering, reading. Not having a smartphone would probably help with the neuroticism with no email or SDN app

I have had really fun filled weekends, but at the end of it all I am always checking and thinking about interviews. I know its only september but I already feel like it is so late! The one thing about waititng for MCAT results, you knew exactly when it was coming, so it gave you a time line when to start really worrying!

I definitely filled my free time with Skyrim last year. 😀 And other video games as well since I know that I wouldn't have a lot of time for them this year. 🙁

I also tried to stay on a good running schedule since I knew that would also be disrupted this year.

lots of movies, internet articles, surfing the web and sports like ultimate Frisbee and ping pong and cricket.

Full course load, work full time, just took on a leadership role for my volunteer group and sitting on the committee for our huge annual fundraiser...and sleep, whenever I can.

I was thinking of just dropping classes or going pass/fail but I can't get a refund at this point and am taking histology, Biochem II and a healthcare policies course. All three could be pretty useful if I actually learn them (and don't purge my brain of it after finals). But next semester I'm just taking half time easy courses so I get my financial aid. Spanish would be useful.
