I'm feeling pretty upset right now. I took the Aug. MCAT in 2000 and scored a 27 (9,9,9). I retook the MCAT this past April after studying for ~4 months. To my unfortunate surprise, I got a 26 (8v, 8p, 10b). I am shocked and really upset about having to take it again in Aug. I'm so sick of taking this test!!! I can't believe that my score went down and I feel like this is one of the worst possible outcomes, I feel like my score is so different than the rest of my application. I went to a top school, had a pretty good GPA, a ton of ECs, and am now doing research for a major cancer hospital. It makes me so frustrated that after SO much effort, my score went DOWN!! I guess I just need to vent a bit and to ask honestly, how bad is this??
