OK, so I've slacked off my first 2 years in basic science courses and now I am seriously regretting what I've done. I am tentatively scheduled to take Step 1 in May 2010, but I am seriously worried if the 8 months time between now and May of next year is enough for me to attain an avg or even a little bit above avg score (220 perhaps?). Just for some background I didn't completely bomb tests, I would get maybe some mid Bs, but mostly low Bs and some high Cs.
Do you guys think it's possible to go through the big robbins between now and may and then still have some time left over to look at reviewer books and do ok on the step 1? Or should I just hit the reviewers hard right now and try to do lot of repeats and try to retain as much core knowledge as possible? Or maybe I should postpone Step 1 to some later date? (although my school has a policy where the latest that you can take step 1 is September of the academic year that a student is becoming a year 3, so my latest date that i can take it is sept of 2010)
I am serisously depressed and any help would be much appreciated!
