I noticed that it's one of the rules listed in the examinee guide

Probably because they don't want you to sneak anything in your pockets.

...You can wear anything you want. The prohibited clothes are not things you would normally wear anyway.
As long as you keep it on during the entirety of the test, almost anything is allowed.

The room was at a perfect temperature IMO.

As long as you keep it on during the entirety of the test, almost anything is allowed.

They are really strict on this point, I took my watch off in the middle of the test and the proctor lady came in and said I had to put it back on.
