Congrats to all neo ppl who got their spot in fellowship. These are early days for me but I just wanted early insight on how you ultimately choose where you want to be?
1.what was important in your decision....Research interest , cost of living , location
2. I saw in other thread that some institutions are very very research oriented. For those who want to practice in private nicu( more clinical and less research ) , did you avoid these kind of highly research oriented institutions?
3. what about some less discussed institutions in terms of NICU experience institutions like--

st louis childrens, Iowa, Rainbow babies,Clarian Riley Hospital for Children - Indianapolis- IN , University of Pittsburgh,Texas Southwestern etc.

How good training these instituitons provide?
