How different will the 2015 DAT's be?

I've heard that there will be changes in the new DAT, how different will it be? I know the Bio and QR sections will be different but how different, and will prep course material adapt to these changes?

No one really knows thus far, there hasn't been enough info released yet. They will adapt similar to how MCAT prep materials have adapted to the new MCAT exam.

I saw the SDN article about changing MCAT, I didn't know they were also changing DAT...

BIO section of the DAT won't change until AFTER Jan 2015.
QR won't change until 2016... although you might see test questions like STATS that wont be included in your score til 2016.

The guy that emailed me back said this exactly: "The Bio section changes would not be implemented until after January of 2015. An exact date has not yet been determined."

I'm assuming that means Feb?

Probably not, there would be some news ahead of time on the ADA website.

I honestly think it will take place in Feb. AFTER Jan of 2015. Personally, I think it would be wise to take it before the end of Jan. lol

I have a few pre med bros that are taking the MCAT in december specifically to avoid the new changes. LOL.

Lol yeah it would suck to take the "new" DAT/MCAT without any updated prep materials.
