Most people I've talked to, including doctors who have gone through the process always say that it's a reach or a waste to apply to out of state schools as chances of getting in are really low. I'm just curious to know if it's really that difficult if you have nice stats. I'm from Georgia, and although I love my home state, I don't think I'd want to spend another 4 years of my life there unless my state schools were the only I was accepted to.
