How do you find $$ to furnish an apartment?

How on earth do you come up with the money to furnish an apartment? I am coming straight out of on-campus undergad housing, and my summer job is going to cover little more than rent and basic bills. Has anyone else been in my situation? How did you do it? I am hesitant to pull out the plastic...

You can try taking a year off and earn some money...

It may sound crazy....but you can use garage sales, salvation army, goodwill.....you will end up with lots of cheap and funky stuff...but on a budget...it works.
You can also look around the school where you are moving and see who is selling what....2nd years on rotations, 4th years graduating...

Find a roomate with furniture...incidentally...it is what I did...
