How do you know when to quit med school?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I agree with the other posters telling you to get outside help and not diagnose yourself. I'm only MS1 and so don't know the stress levels that come along with 3rd year but if you were smart enough to get into med school and pass M1,2, step, then I would think you are smart enough to graduate (ie., not fail).

I strongly would advise you to seek outside help. Your posts sound like you really might have depression. And depression can make you forgetful just fyi. (not that I am trying to diagnose you). It's just your posts make me suspicious of depression...

Remember that you are in med school. And surrounded by people who are either smarter than you or about the same as you. I doubt you are much "less intelligent" than the others that you are observing. You are living in a world where A is thought to be the norm. Don't get so discouraged.

And I agree that exercing does help. And get outside.

Hang in there bud.
