what does it mean when these members post "my overall gpa is 3.4"
do they count only the grades needed for pharmacy? for example. If i take pre algebra(not required for pharm) my 1st semester and got D+ and 2nd semester i took Calculus which is required prereq for pharm. and got A+. Is the pre algebra counted in the gpa grading overall ? Im confused. can anyone educate me?

PharmCAS counts everything. They calculate a separate math and science section so all the courses you've ever taken that is math will be calculated.

Yes, very true.......pharmcas count every classes that you ever took and factor those into the gpa.......

So, what if the pharmacy school you are applying to says they only take the later grade in a repeated course? They just throw out what they don't need of the PharmCas GPA?

aww mann so it means i have to retake pre algebra to get rid of the bad grade

so u got a D in pre-algebra but a A+ in calculus?

i missed some exams..how do i get rid of that bad grade?
