so how does the score report deal work? I released my scores, so will MCAT send my scores to AMCAS and they pass it on? Or did i have to designate AMCAS schools as well non-AMCAS?

Because you released your scores on the day of the test they will automatically be forwarded to all schools designated on your AMCAS application. For all non AMCAS schools you have to request that scores be sent to those schools. You either requested this on the day of the test or you need to fill out a seperate form. I think you can do it directly online on the MCAT site.
