So people say if you apply early, it increases your chance of being accepted, so I am curious for those who applied this year....

1. When did you apply?
2. When was your application completed and sent out to dental schools?
3. When did you receive your first interview, if at all?
4. How many schools did you apply to?
5. How many schools offered interviews/ accepted you?
6. What were your stats?

Here's some advice for those of you preparing to apply for the following year (c/o 2011)
1)APPLY EARLY!! (which means have your application complete and sent out ASAP). It makes a BIG difference if you apply early. You get looked at sooner by ADCOM & you have less seats to compete for. From my experience if you have good stats compared to someone who has better and you apply earlier then them, you definatley have the edge.
2)As far as AADSAS goes; make sure you send them your transcripts ASAP. Let that be the first thing that you do even before submitting your application, because it takes AADSAS couple of weeks to verify your transcripts & GPA. The sooner you have your transcripts in the sooner your aadsas file is going to get sent out to all the schools.
3)Try to get the earliest interview date as possible. Again the earlier you are in the cycle the less people you have to compete with and it will be easier for you to get in.

Well thats my advice from my own personal experience. I wish all you guys applying for the next cycle best of luck 👍 and if you have any questions just pm me!
