How good is my practice test score?

So without doing any studying I took the first Kaplan full length and got a 493 overall. 122 chem/phys. 125 cars. 124 bio/biochem. 122 psych/soc. I am curious to know how much studying actually improves scores. I got 4 months to study and improve, but right off the bat is this score without studying terrible?

my Kaplan diagnostic was like a 492... You will improve greatly in 4 months.. Kaplan test scores are much lower than other companies though, keep that in mind. I am two weeks from my test and highest kaplan I scored was 506 (503 avg) but have scored higher on other test companied/aamc materials.
