I took a very hard computer science Major with lots and lots of math classes dragging my BCPM gpa down. My cGPA is around 3.2. My BCPM is around 3.3.
I have lots of extra curricular's but in engineering. I also have experience building a database with a UIC pharm prof. Im going to get a LoR from him. I also went to UIC undergrad if that helps!

My first 2 semesters in undergrad sucked, but my last 2 years I had a 3.5. Do you think ad-coms will overlook my first 2 years considering there were only 2 science classes then?

I plan on getting 30-35 on my MCAT.

What are my chances for getting into UIC? 😕

If you get an MCAT score of 35 to balance the low GPA, you might have a chance, and the recent better grades would help you. I'd suggest you strongly consider spending another year raising your GPA. They are also pretty fussy about your having the usual extracurriculars. Research (need not be science) isn't an essential if everything else is solid, but be sure you have community service, clinical experience, shadowing, and leadership on your application. Having a UIC undergrad degree will not help you.

I agree with the above poster. There are a lot of components to a good application that you'll need to acquire unless you haven't mentioned them. From what you've posted, I see you as having very little chance at UIC this cycle. UIC expects to see evidence on your application that you've tested your interest in becoming a physician and have experience working with the sick.
