ok i made this thread bc of the massive amounts of email ppl keep sending me wth. Rule one: u dont get a super score over night or a week or two UNLESS u actually know the materials in ur pre reqs super well.

How I did it
1) Difficult classes - challenging urself lets u know if u will do well. i took uper level Anatomy, cellular/mol. Bio., microbio, biochem.
2) Bought kaplan (3 different books, dif year i think), barrons, gre words (prob 2 words i saw), studied 500 words i found on internet.
3) learned the flow of the pcat meaning knew what to sort of expect like backterial cell walls, endospores, analogies, alot of general chem CONCEPTS, passages are repeated so even though u wont know if its right at least ur sort of familiar with the passages. although i did get a 70 reading but still good.

final
4) kept track of time during test to a tee. while every1 was half way in the chem with 10 mins left i was almost done bc i knew when to skip pain in the ass questions and go to easy ones.

anyways hope no one else asks me, howd u do it? lol actually it dosnt matter. peace and hope that helps

Isn't this thread suppose to be in the PCAT discussions section??

thanks for the advice. i heard examkrackers were great to study wth as well. I ordered mine yesterday so hopefully I'l get them soon and start studying.

I think taking hard classes is a major part of doing well on the PCAT i did really well on the chem section because I had taken all the chem that the test covered prior to taking the test.

since im done with the pcat, ive decided to sell my materials. i have several kaplan books, gre text book, barrons and other extremely imp info that can help u do well. contact me if ur seriously interested.
