How important is P/F?

One DO school has P/F (with internal ranking) other has ABC grading. Do residency programs TRULY not care about your grades? What is the benefit?

Honors, high pass etc is basically graded without the letters.

Really, truly, PDs do NOT care about your preclinical grades.

About 90% of all MD schools use PF

Yes, and not all schools use internal rankings, either
