How is my application looking?

This is what I expect my application to be:

3.7 cGPA
3.8 sGPA (both strong upward trend)
512 MCAT
~260 clinical volunteer hours evenly split among 6 different settings
~250 hours volunteering at habitat for humanity (a bit of leadership attached)

One summer working as a personal trainer for elderly people

50 hours shadowing split between 6 doctors in various specialties

1 semester of research (really didn’t like and don’t want to do more in future)

About a year of working a part time job at school recreation center

Deans list award

At least 1000 hours on a hobby, don’t know if I should list this

During my gap year I’ll have some clinical job but I don’t know if I’ll start it before I apply

I have a somewhat similar app to you and have found surprising success so far this cycle so I believe you'll receive several interviews.

(1) What state are you in?

(2) I wouldn't list this in your amcas -- adcoms see right through the fluff

(3) I HIGHLY recommend starting your gap year job before you submit amcas so you can slap in on your primary without having all hours as projected (which mean nothing)

Thanks @candbgirl - applying in Texas is easy : Apply to all TMDSAS schools for one price on the app!
Some Texas schools select by a particular mission, but most Texans apply to them all anyhow.
I can move this post over to WAMC forum for more possible help with OOS lists.
