It seems that if you could get past AADSAS, the dental schools would have no way of knowing. Good luck!

Hmmm... Interesting, but do you think AADSAS does this as a service for the schools or do you think the schools independently check up on it?

They'll probably check independently but only if they have good reason to suspect you. It could also be a completely random check on people's background.

You have to list ALL schools you attended

If you think you can get away from it, think again

I remember hearing this from my kaplan instructor

When its time to do your financial information, I heard schools will know every school you attended, since you had to have paid tuition there. If the schools you attended, and the schools you listed on AADSAS for your gpa doesn't match, then most likely you will be kicked out.

well maybe its not normal employer background check then.

Listen, I am talking from personal experience here. I took ONE class at a community college 12 years ago when i was 14. I did not send a transcript into aadsas. AADSAS put a hold on my application and emailed me saying their records showed I attended a community college and therefore they needed the transcript.

NOWHERE on my app in any way was this class mentioned. I never transferred it. It was never listed on ANYTHING that aadsas ever SAW, yet they knew, and needed the transcript.

Believe me, it was a ****ty experience, I thought that one GYM class (1 credit "weight lifting") at a community college when i was 14, wouldn't need to be listed, cost me 3 weeks of time!
Hmmm, interesting.

I took a class in my freshman year of high school that had 3 "college credits" attached to it from some random community college I don't even remember the name of... I would assume that I should probably try to figure that out before I apply to d-school, right? 😕
