How likely is it to honor IM and get junior AOA but not basic sci?

How likely is it to honor IM and get junior AOA but not basic sci? From my understanding, basic sci and clerkships are very diff, and a perception might be that ppl who honor in basic sci might not necessarily do so in clerkships (esp the studious introverts) and vice versa. How true is this perception? Did you (or your classmates) happen to do well in basic sci but not clerkships or vice versa?

At my school you really have to do both. Rank in class is dependent on all 3 years and AOA committee looks at rank seriously. My grades were the same for all 3 years.
