How long are LORs valid?

I will be graduating from undergrad in May, but won't be applying until next cycle. I would like to get some LOR's from professors that I have had. If I got them now, would I still be able to use them for next years cycle?

It really depends on the school. Most schools will allow you to use LORs that are fairly recent (~3 years).

I applied to about 17 schools and all of them accepted mine (one was 3 years old).

The letter can be mailed in. You just ask the writer to include a cover sheet they give you.

It's best to have your writers do their letter with official university/college letterhead and you can send an email request on your interfolio account to your letter writers and it gives them a link to upload their letter instead of mailing it in to interfolio.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but can you use the same letters as a re-applicant? Or is this frowned upon? I have the 2 professors and 1 DO on my interfolio account from this years cycle and will more than likely need to re-apply this summer.
