How long did you study for step 1 and what did you use?

title says it all.

I've heard take it within a month of finishing basic sciences; I've heard you should take a review course (6-7 weeks usually), etc.

At my school, Kaplan is built-in during the last 3 months (as we finish up Path, yippie).

Also, what did you guys use. I know there is Kaplan and Falcon of course, and I've heard of Pass (and I've seen a video of a lecture, looks highly unprofessional imo but some people swear by it).
