After the school receives the AACOMAS they send you a secondary application. So it depends on how fast you submit that and your LORs.

I sent the AACOMAS to 12 DO schools and that was not the case for any of them. So I think that it's pretty rare...

Really depends on school and the timing of application.

Yeah, I think it has to do with timing. From my experience, both Western and WVSOM sent their application at the same time as the interview invite.

how long did Western take to notify you?, my AACOMAS was mailed on Aug 5th and I haven't received any information from them...

DMU does this if you meet the criteria.

I got my secondary 2-3 days after mailing and an interview the day after that. 😀 😀 😀

Well, i got the interview the day after I got the secondary (i happened to send in the secondary the same day I got it) but there is no way they could have reviewed it.

Also, the interview invite basically said they were sending it without having the complete app.

how long did Western take to notify you?, my AACOMAS was mailed on Aug 5th and I haven't received any information from them...

According to AACOMAS, they sent my primary out on 6/26 and then a revised one on 7/15 and I received my secondary and my interview invite the same day on 7/21. So you could say that it took almost a month or as short as a week.

I still haven't heard from Western...I submitted aacomas on 6/24 and it was revised on 7/28.
