For CA, where does it say a prescription is valid for a year since it was written?
What source? Can't find it on the board of pharmacy.

Not sure about Cali, but in SC Rxs are good for 2 years....but insurance companies basically limit it to a year.

In cali, it is one year unless it is a controlled substance then it is 6 months!

Interesting - In OR, CIIs have no expiration date. CIII - V are 6 months

In SC, CII - 90 days no refiils 31 day supply

CIII - CV - 6 months, 5 refills one refill early 48 hrs for life of Rx
