I have 5.5 weeks to study for Step 1 after my finals. I am signed up for the online course of DIT.

So far, I've barely looked at the questions DIT has been emailing me, I've only gone through a small part of FA (mostly material from MSII), and I haven't ever opened RR or BRS physio.

I want to go through the entirety of FA before starting the DIT course, as well as go through RR and BRS phys...all the while doing UWorld Q's each day. Is this possible? If so, how long would it take?

I want to leave a week after taking DIT to review FA, take another practice test, etc. So, if I assume DIT takes 15 days, that leaves me 16 days to do all of the above.

I'm an average student, except for path, which I suck at.

Honestly, that sounds like alot to try and do in 5.5 weeks. I am in the same boat, and I realized that the days are really short and you can't get as much done as you would like. With the time breakdown though, think of it this way: UW is about 2000 questions; if you do 100 questions/day and review the answers, that's already 20 days out of the time. That leaves you with ~2.5 weeks, so that might allow enough time to get through FA, RR and BRS phys. Don't know how DIT would fit into that, you may need to make some choices about what material to use.
I would suggest making a daily schedule to try to see what's best for you.

I kinda was planning on starting each day with a UW block and, if I still have the time/energy, I'd end each day with one as well.

I just took a look at RR and I'm not sure it'll be very helpful. I learn very well from narratives (like Goljan's audio lectures), yet the book seems to be an endless list of bulleted facts....I'm really bad at memorizing 🙁

I really want to make a daily schedule, but I'm just not sure how long each thing realistically takes.

Probably not what you want to hear, but it depends on what you already know/once knew. I had to spend 6 days on micro because, quite frankly, I didn't really know any of it. I'm devoting more of my time to the subjects I know I'm weakest at.

I'd suggest ditching dit and focusing on FA + UW. Start at your crappiest subjects and just go. At first 46 UW questions will take about 3 hours with review, 4 hours if you really take your time. I'd make sure I finished all of UW. If you want to make a schedule, I'd triage your subjects, and see how many days you can spend on each, with more time allotted for the weaker ones. Just my 2 cents. There's also the iphone app that creates a schedule for you, once you know how much time per day you want to spend on each subject ect.

No way I'm ditching DIT....i payed a lot of money for it, and I've heard very very good reviews. I need to take final exams in pathology and microbiology right before I start my USMLE prep, so hopefully that'll help out big-time

If you're pressed for time, I recommend focusing on FA and uworld. I know some people who did well (235+) just by using FA and uworld. Since you just bought DIT and not planning to ditch it, I would just use DIT and go over FA at the same instead of trying to review FA first and then use DIT. And then you can use your remaining 16 days to go over FA the second time and do qbank.

they key is to do a lot of questions..try to do uworld twice if you can. I suggest taking an NBME to assess your weak points and spend most of your time hitting your weak areas.
