How many and what kind of recommendation letters to get

So I have 3 letters of rec., 2 from bio prof that I researched with and one from my social sci. prof (I am dual majoring in a social sci.). My advisor said I should get one more letter from an employer, but I don't really think that would help because they don't know me that well. What are your thoughts?

What you have should suffice for 80% of the schools.
