Hello
I recently purchased the Official Guide to Dental Schools by ADEA, and I'm really confused about Biology prerequisite courses...
Almost all dental schools in this book says the following:
With lab required:
Inorganic chemistry 8 hrs
Organic chemistry 8 hrs
Biology 8 hrs
etc...
What I'm confused is that I already took two first-year-general biology courses at University of British Columbia to complete prerequisites.
However, Only one of them had a lab with it.
Does this mean that I need to take one more biology class with a lab, even though it is not really a prerequisite General Biology course for the dental program?
I don't know what exactly they mean by saying "with lab required"...Does it mean that all 8 hours should be with lab?
Can anyone clarify this for me?
thank you for your time.
Patrick
