how many interviews do you guys think is a good amount in order to have a good chance at getting accepted? I have four so far but I'm still kind of worried because my GPA is pretty low

You have 4 interviews. As long as you can interview well you’ll get an acceptance. As for your gpa clearly it is not a huge factor since you are getting interviews. Good luck!

Worry about doing your very best at those interviews. The saying "quality of quantity" is true. You could have 12 interviews but if you do not do well it doesn't matter. The admission is very random at times so getting more interviews may increase your chances but not by a whole lot if your interview sucks. Good luck!! Worry about what you can control and you will successful

One. You can only go to one dental school. The interview is the last step in the admissions process. Your application got you there. You fall into the admissions criteria for acceptance. It is now yours to lose. Prepare the same way you would for an oral exam. Walking in cold is IMHO a crapshoot. One of my former residents answered one of our no right answer interview questions this way:
Given the choice, would you prefer to be skillful or lucky?
Answer: Lucky. Luck comes to the most prepared.
Still the best answer to that question we have heard. Thanks Erica.
Prepare for the questions you know you will hear, so that you do not fumble for an answer. Read up on interview protocols and strategies. There is plenty of good info out there in books and on the internet.
