How many letters of rec is too many?

For example: UCI asks for 3-6 letters. Do you think they ACTUALLY wouldn't mind 6? I have six strong letters but I'm afraid they'll think that 6 letters is annoying lol

If you have 6 letters that you know each one is strong, send them and don't worry about it. If a school says they have a maximum of 6, then you can send up to 6. I think they would only get annoyed with 6 letters if any of them were just fluff letters that didn't contribute any meaningful insight into you as an applicant and future physician. But with 6 strong letters you should be good.
