I did shadowing with several dentists. But I spent most of my time doing shadowing with one of them. She wrote me LOR. Is one LOR from a dentist enough? Do dental schools require LOR from all the dentists being shadowed?

I ask this question because one of the dentist being shadowed is pregnant. She may not be able to write the letter for me.

Some schools don't even require an LOR from a dentist. You def only need one, maximum.

Just one. I'd just ask her first. If she can't, I'd ask one of the others that you shadowed.

Look at the requirements for the schools you're applying to. They all specifically state what they need from you, and if you're asking a question like this you obviously haven't done much research. You should know a little about the schools you'll be applying to

Is it applicable to ask for more than one letter? I'm curious because one of the dentists I shadow is well known at my state dental school, whereas another one I shadow is well known at the dental school for the current institution I attend.

You'll need to pick one or the other since you only have 4 slots (unless doing committee letter) for letters.

Even with committee letters, you're only allow one other letter.
