I have a committee letter but would like to submit 3 additional letters from a dentist, employer etc. A lot of the dental school sites say "We accept one committee letter or 3 individual letters"

So my question is, can we submit a committee letter AND 3 non-academic letters to dental schools?

And is it better to send letters to AADSAS for distribution to dental schools or to send letters directly to schools?

Why would you need 3 letters on top of a committee letter, which is supposed to be a composite LOR anyway? Dental schools want either/or (most actually prefer committee letters), not both. Plus AADSAS takes only 4 individual letters OR a committee letter + ONE additional letter. Just send in the committee letter and the dentist letter. If you really think its necessary to send in an employer's letter, then you will need to mail that to schools separately.

What about sending the letters, do you send them to AADSAS or should they be send individually to school?? If anyone who has already applied answer this too then that would be great.

Send the letters to AADSAS, and they will forward them to schools. If the letter is electronic, all you need to do is provide the evaluator's email address on the application, and AADSAS will email them with instructions on how to submit. If the evaluator prefers to mail it themselves, you will need to print out the LOR matching form (available June 1st) and give it to the evaluator to include in the envelope when they mail the letter to AADSAS.
