I only have out-of-states interviews only and I don't know if I should go to all of them. I do like all of the schools that I've applied to but my wallet is not so happy with travelling costs... only if I was a billionaire. haha.

I have applied to 20 schools and got 3 interview invites so far.

So, for you guys, are you willing to go to every interview possible?

because I don't know how long my wallet will last...

p.s. I do have a full time job but I got bills to pay...

I read somewhere on here that the average is 1 acceptance out of 4 interview, so I would go to at least 6 just to be safe.

how confident are you in getting in at the schools you interviewed at?

it seems like I need to accept more interviews then..

I am not very good with interviews. I just get way too nervous.

gotta practice my interview skills with my friends or something. 😱

its important not to take these interviews for granted and reject them. who knows how many acceptances we'll actually get. plus, keep in mind that these schools that are getting back to us right now are generally the more lenient schools in giving out interviews

later on when the CA schools start making decisions we're gonna see rejections for sure

my advise, go to all of them. as my mom always says, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth". no pun intended

I'm in a similar situation, i am on the west coast and applying to only east coast schools. I've been hoping to schedule interviews together so i can minimize the number of flights to the east. So far i'm 5/5 for interview invites and the other 5 schools i've applied to haven't offered anybody interviews yet. I think i've decided to take just four trips out there and hope to squeeze in multiple interviews on the same flight.
Case-sep 9
Uconn-sep 10 (saved me about 300 bucks to just hop another plane to uconn)

Then i got invited to UPenn and VCU, i'm thinking i will set them up mid-october and hope to hear back from maryland and temple soon and maybe get them all on one plane ticket.
I didn't think i'd get such a good response back, but i did apply early and some good extra currics. There are some back up schools on my list, so... i'm thinking if i get offered an invite try to schedule it post-dec, if they would let me?? I'm just having trouble thinking i wouldn't go to an interview if it is offered..

What are your stats?? GPA, EC, DAT, ect...?

Nice! yea, so far I have 5 interviews as well. All in east coast except Midwestern AZ and UNLV.

Like you, I never thought that I would get this many invitations thus applied to 20 schools.... But I am very grateful for the opportunities.

My top choice schools are in CA and none of them started to give out invitations yet. I wish they were the ones that start to review the applications earlier but unfortunately, they are one of the latest to do that in the country.

But I have never been out of CA and NV in my life. So, I am pretty excited to travel except the fact that I will have to spend lots and lots of money...

But good luck on your fore coming interviews! Wish me luck as well.

I will hopefully be in the same bind when the cali schools start doing invites. I am hoping I can get them all close together to save some money. I would suggest doing what you are doing and hope that you can lump them together.
