In order to handle the huge loads of classes in medical or in my case, dental school, how many classes should one take a semester? I was thinking about taking three science classes a semester myself. Does anyone have any ideas?

I was actually going to post the same thing today. For those non-trads who were excepted into Med/Dental School etc. How many classes did you take at a time as you were going back. How much of a difference if any do you think this makes? Do you feel the GPA is the most important? Or do you need to show that you can handle a lot at one time...even if you are working FT?

I think three science class per semester is what's recommended.

I'm going to be taking O-Chem, Bio II, and Physics in the fall. Will have O-Chem II, Physics II, and probably 2 upper level Bio courses in the spring. You want a good gpa of course, but I think you need to show that you can handle a decent workload. Forget about working. I don't see how you could work full-time and be a full-time student. It'll be more debt, but in the end WELL worth it because you'll get more rest, and won't be so stressed out trying to find time to study in your hectic schedule.

I really don't see how it's possible to study ft and go to school ft

it took me sometimes the whole weekend to write up the chem labs

most I could do was two classes

but that was even a stretch

i think im gonna cut down my hours of working to 30 hours

i knew if i had more time i'd have all A's

As many as you can take and get As in them... No more than that... So if you can only take 1 or 2 and get an A, that's what you need to do, if you can take 3 or 4 and get As then do that...
