anyone recall?
How would you know how many spots are available? I can't find the outcomes data for this year on the NRMP website. Also, are there any new programs this year that are going to scramble to get all of their residents?
im praying that i can get one of these 16 spots tomorrow
Me too.
I believe Staten Island has a brand new program and is scrambling all of thier interns this year... at least that's the rumor.
Why would a program do this, or is it simply that they received accreditation too late to participate in the match, but still wanted a class for the new year?
So what is the regional breakdown this year? 2 in the west, 8 in the Northeast, then...?
Best of luck to everyone scrambling right now! Hoping everyone stays sane and has a decent support network to get them through it all...
So was Sparrow the program with 4 open spots then? I believe someone mentioned a central region program with 4 of 9 spots left open?
4 central, 2 southern...total 16.
Just curious, which southern program(s) did not fill?
I'm assuming they count Puerto Rico as "south" as it had 2 open spots in scramble.
I assume all the lectures are in Spanish in puerto rico?
I assume is because they might not be able to find enough fully fluent spanish speakers that are also qualified candidates for that particular specialty.
