How many upper divs are considered enough?

I am graduating a semester early due to financial reasons and this means I will be missing out on two upper division classes (Immuno and neuro) I had originally planned to take. So far, I've taken:

Biochem and Molecular Bio
Cell Bio
Developmental Bio
Human Anatomy
Physiology
Plant Env. Biology

For my last semester, I plan to just take cell bio lab, astronomy, my last GE req., and do research. In all, when I apply, I will have 7 upper div bio classes; would that be enough for med schools? I feel that it seems too few since many will have taken more.

Thanks in advance.

Obviously, there is not upper division requirement. There are pleny of non-science majors that apply to medical school who took most of their upper division coursework in a different area.

You have more than me. I've only taken 2 of those classes. I have a few others in Bioinformatics and Bio/Comp fields that you would probably go @_@ at but you definitely have more hardcore bio classes.

Yeah you have enough upper level sciences dude.

Remember that not everyone who is applying to medical school is even a science major in the first place....so you automatically have 7 more upper level sciences than any of those people do.

I have/will have taken Biochemistry I and II, Genetics, Histology, Embryology, Anatomy, Methods of Human Dissection, Advanced Human Physiology, and a Seminar in Neurophysiology. Not to mention 2 upper division biology research classes. I just decided to squeeze in as many as I could to show I could handle the load. Of course the schools I have applied to only require 1 but highly recommend 3-5.
