my advisor said two or three over the entire college years is no biggie, just be ready to come up with a reasonable answer if asked during an interview.

how many is "depends on what you say'/no biggie or raising the red flag?

Whats your opinion? what about Ws from Bio class or chem class?

I want to withdraw from one of my classes, that will put me in red marks for three Ws and one C over 150 undergraduate credits, ( I am already graduated with a Bachelors') , is it acceptable? two Ws from other area of study, one W from bio/chem.

Try to have a good letter grade for all pre-req classes. If you have a W somewhere, make sure to retake it later.

I don't support taking classes with papers in Greek. Are you a Classics major or something?

I had 9 Ws and I am accepted to two schools as of now. I was definitely asked about them at interviews. I will put my MDapps back up when I get a chance. I wanted to share this fact because it was nice for me to hear this from other accepted people who had a lot of Ws.

Based on my single experience, I would say 2-3 Ws over an entire undergrad career is not bad.

Ws are better than Cs. Just make sure you have a good reason for them. I got accepted to my top three choices with 6 Ws on my transcript (re-took classes later and got As and Bs). Not sure if I would've had the same luck if didn't withdraw and let those classes murder my GPA.

Out of all the schools I interviewed at, the only one who actually asked me about it was UF.

I think Ws only become a problem if it is an every semester kind of thing and it stretches out college to 5+ years, plus if you also seem to have GPA issues.

I had 5 or 6 Ws (really can't remember how many total) and it was evidently a non-issue: I have 5 acceptances. But I also had a 3.9+ GPA (BCPM, too) and I took full course loads and graduated on time...

Nobody ever mentioned it to me. That's not to say that it wasn't viewed negatively by someone in some adcom office, just that I was never asked about it; regardless I have had a very successful app cycle despite my Ws.

Thank you everyone.
Lacasta, thanks for your encouragement. I know its silly to look for validation "someone else has done this and hes OK", I wanted to be extra cautious about what I do as of right now so I dont screw up my dream and many other hard works I have put into this.
Thanks again ,that was reassuring.
