I want to know how much other students are able to do in one day and what they make sure to do everyday in their study prep. I can go through 46 pages of FA, do 2 blocks of questions, listen to couple of pathoma lectures, go through BRS physiology chapter, utah neuro anatomy slides for 30 minutes/HY neuro, and finally review before bed. I'm looking to see if I'm doing it right or if I need to make some changes to my study prep.

Any recommendations or suggestions by those who have already taken the exam regarding what should be done daily in our prep for step 1 would be greatly appreciated.

Good question as you got over 300 views... I would like to know that too or what the students who passed already recommend. I think we should definitely go over pharm and anatomy daily for at least an hour to put them in our long term memory.

About what I do daily, it takes me ~4 hours to do one block questions and then to go over it. After that I go over FA along with pathoma, and then do another block of questions and review it. At the end of day I make sure to do at least 2-3 blocks of questions and then go over subjects I'm weak in. Before bed I go over pharm cards.

I think I will start going through that utah neuro anatomy you mentioned for neuro too.

Learn something new everyday.
Review something you learned everyday.
Quiz your friend everyday.

Believe in yourself.

I believe that is the most important step.

If you start out the first day of med schooling knowing you'll get 250+, of course you will get 250+.
