how much does it cost to get ortho done at your school?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
From what I understand, its not cheap to buy a position in ortho and many schools have cracked down on it. I would just study hard and get good grades/boards. (boards may be a thing of the past from what I'm gathering right now though) That's probably the best way now days. Otherwise specialize in perio. Heck, they will probably pay you to apply!

are you talking about getting treatment or applying?

thanks but im talking about treatment (cost of getting braces), not getting into a specialty program

hahahaha!!!!!

to be treated by a dental student at UNC it's 950 for a single arch, 1600 for both arches

$800 for Invisalign, though I'm not sure if that covers one or both arches.

for undergrad it's about 1k per arch. if you're a dental student though you get a 75% discount! 👍
