So, I was curious as to how much having multiple majors may help/hurt my chances. I have a 3.4 gpa (horrid, I'm aware) and a 30 MCAT. I've had multiple internships, countless volunteer hours, have studied abroad, and have 3 majors. My freshman year was pretty horrible, but because of my multiple majors (I'm graduating in May with over 190 hours) it has been very hard to raise my gpa since then. Do you think they will take that into consideration with my application? Also, keep in mind, my upward trend has been significant...

I think multiple majors can help to set you apart, but I don't think they will give you something as tangible as a GPA boost. The upward trend will help more in that regard.

honestly while most medical school will look at your below average gpa and think of you as a less qualified candidate
however with 3 majors, this will make you stand out significantly more then the average bio major
and your mcat isnt too bad
so i think you got a good shot

Perhaps your list of various classes may help, but my health advisor says multiple number of major has not much effect on strength of your application.

I think you'll be hearing from your in-state school very soon. 😀
