hey guys how much do you read of RR path per day. I am just wondering if I am going too slow and how to speed it up. I only manage to read 50 pages per day in like 8 hours..🙁

Are you trying to memorize everything? I'm still in school but I was able to read a chapter in about 2 hours (25 - 30 pages total). My strategy for RR was to read a section, recall the 3-4 main bullets and then simplify it in my own words, then write that in the margin. Putting something in my own words or thoughts helps to make it stick better. I'd then move on to the next major section and continue.

yea...i am trying to memorize every word, so i could essentially rewite the book wihtout looking at the real one.....I am thinking this is not so smart........oh man now i am so behind

You might want to try breaking it up a bit. So, instead of reading 8 hours of RR path, read it for only 4 hours and then spend the other 4 hours reading your other sources. I've found that I'm more efficient that way.

i do 30 pages in about 45-50 minutes. at 30 pages a day it takes me about 20 days to cover the whole thing. i am about to start up for my 3rd time through (not counting what i read during class). i am, however, the type of person that likes to read things several times, so i knew i was going to have to read through it a few times. i am not one to dwell on memorizing the 1st time through. i think it has worked out really well thus far

Try and maybe buy some used Lange Path flashcards off amazon, which are awesome by the way, listen to Goljan and annotate the flashcards with Goljan. That way you can go over some great path cards goljan notes a number of times at a faster rate then trying to reread RR. ALOT of the concepts that goljan goes over are already written in the flashcards anyways which makes noting goljan easy. I think First Aid gave the flashcards an A+ in the back section. Hope this helps. Peace

Jesus Becky...take a break.

I'm speaking as a concerned classmate 😉

ha, trust me, this is really the only thing i have kept up on. all my other "study plans" haven't really been fulfilled yet.

im the same, i take forever to read things. my first pass through goljan was the most painful. but as i read, it got faster and faster. I can do a chapter in about 2-3 hours. i think the most key thing is to read at your own pace, i find when i force myself, i retain nothing. but because of this, i have to study 12-14 hours a day and be extra time concious then most.

set a schedule and try your best not to fall behind

i used tp be like BoneNibbler and it took me forever to go throught any thing and most of the time after i finished studying i didnt remeber the main points and i used to feel that i wasted my time.. now i follow spospo strtategy and i think its great.. i spend less time achieving more.. and i feel more relaxed and i actually remeber the main ideas from the first time and then when i read it for the second time i cath up on the small details...

another usefull thing i learnt is that studying streight for more than 3 hrs decreses the amount of material i memorize or even just capturing the head lines!!!

GOod luck.. and tell us how that workd for U
