Hey guys,

I was wondering with the new format (CBT) about how many minutes should you be spending on each passage (Verbal/PS/BS). I want to gauge my timing.

i never really worried about PS and BS about time because i was finishing on time. In VR, shoot for 8 mins and 30 seconds. in that case you should finish in 59 minutes and have 1 minute to spare.

so, there were 7 psges per VR section? How about # psges per other sections? # discretes?

I took the January 27th test. There were 13 discretes per section and 7 passages. however, kaplan e-mailed us a few days before the test saying that there will soon be different variations of the physical and biological sciences sections. they might have 7, 8, or 9 passages, but they will always have 13 discretes and 52 total questions. Verbal will also always be 7 passages.
